New Year’s Day Protein Bowl (Grounding & Blood Sugar–Friendly)

After holiday meals and late nights, your body doesn’t need a detox — it needs nourishment. This simple protein bowl helps stabilize blood sugar, support digestion, and ease you into January without pressure.

Ingredients (Serves 1–2)

  • 2–3 eggs (or tofu scramble)

  • 1 cup sautéed spinach or kale

  • ½ avocado, sliced

  • 1 tbsp olive oil or ghee

  • Salt and pepper

  • Optional: herbs or salsa

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil or ghee in a skillet.

  2. Scramble eggs gently until just set.

  3. Add greens and cook until wilted.

  4. Top with avocado and season to taste.

Why It Works for Blood Sugar

  • Protein helps prevent spikes

  • Healthy fats slow digestion

  • Greens provide fiber and minerals

  • Warm meals calm the nervous system

This is an ideal breakfast for January mornings when you want to feel steady, not deprived.

Gentle Reminder

You don’t need to start over.
You just need to start supported.
