Reduced-Sugar Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
  • Zest of 1 orange

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the cranberries, water, orange juice, and maple syrup.
  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 10 minutes until the cranberries burst and the sauce thickens.
  3. Stir in the orange zest and let cool before serving.
