Back to: Day 3 Count your steps
Lets Move More
An easy way to move more is to count your steps and slowly increase the number.
Be More Active
Steps, the goal is to get to 10,000 steps per day. But just by having you keep track of your steps on your phone or with a pedometer, you are more likely to be more active by as much as 25% more than usual.
Keep your phone in your pocket, purse or elsewhere on you. And don’t worry, it won’t drain your battery. Every time you reach your goal, we add 300 steps to your goal for the next day. This is all a part of our “small steps” approach to improving your health.
Reach your goal 4 times this week and you’ll be taking over 1000 more steps next week. Reach your goal every day this week and you’ll have doubled your step goal by this time next week.
